EUR futures: further consolidation likely

In light of preliminary figures for EUR futures markets from CME Group, investors added around 38.2K contracts to their open interest positions on Tuesday vs. Monday’s final 519,325 contracts. In the same line, volume rose by around 219.5K contracts to the largest level since June 14.

EUR/USD waiting for a breakout of the range

EUR/USD is prolonging the multi-session sideline theme so far today amidst an important build in both open interest and volume following yesterday’s indecisive price action. Further rangebound is thus expected, while cautiousness ahead of the ECB meeting tomorrow is seen swelling in the next hours.

Eurozone industrial production and the US producer prices in focus today - Rabobank

Analysts at Rabobank suggest that the Eurozone industrial production is expected to fall 0.5% m/m in July, according to the median economist estimate.
