European Union finance ministers to meet without Britain

The 27 EU ministers will meet without Britain in Brussels today to try and settle their differences on plans to reform the Euro area after Brexit.

The meeting is aimed at simplifying the rules for Eurozone budgets, which individual governments need to keep under control in order to avoid sanctions from Brussels.
