Fed's Evans transformation from dove to hawk

Federal Reserve Evans has come across hawkish today speaking in Chicago, eyeing US growth of 2.0-2.5% in 2016 on better looking fundamentals.

He feels that US unemployment will be at 4.75% by end of the year despite the drag on US growth form overseas while lower energy prices are good for consumers.

"I used to be sort of on the lower side of those dots. I now think the median is a pretty good setting."
